Individual, adolescent and family therapist
Life’s challenges can take many forms, such as relationship distress, anxiety, depression, trauma or substance abuse. Abby’s role is to work collaboratively with individuals, couples and families, helping them build on their inherent strengths and develop more effective ways of coping with what life throws their way. She takes a systemic approach and considers important factors such as family history, social context, and cultural background in her work with clients. Abby integrates a variety of evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Narrative Therapy. Abby works with her clients to change unhelpful thinking and behavioral patterns, and to guide them in rewriting their own personal stories in a way that leads to solutions and renewed hope.
